this doesnt seem too practical. the reason djs wear headphones instead of something like this contraption, undeniably cool as it is, is so that they can hear the next song and therefore mix it. mixing one handed while holding a massive old school phone pressed up against your ear just seems like a step backwards? is it really as pointlessly stupid as it seems?

Yes, we agree, not the most practical solution perhaps, but it works and it looks good. We think it’s pretty boring when practicality defines every choice you make, where’s the fun in that?

in being able to mix amazing tunes perfectly without anyone noticing it changed. after a night out do you remember the djs headphones or that amazing tune they played halfway through their set.
i also agree that practicallities shouldn’t define choice but surely putting some furry ear muff covers over your headphones would be just as cool, unless you made the phone two way so that u could sample conversations on the phone and use them live…people say some funny thing on the phone!
