HONDA ZOOMERS are getting popular in London. These ugly machines reject space-age-sports-lines, opting instead for a robust, utilitarian build. That’s what gives them their charm.

But it’s not the first time HONDA have pulled an innovative BIKE
out of the bag

I have one as well. Its a very cool bike, attracting a lot of attention anywhere I go. Like you guys, I hope I can find parts for it. Otherwise, I’ll probably have to improvise like what other owners have done, especially in Japan.

I need a 13/14mm Keihin carb or compatible for my MOTO. Anybody have any luck on getting parts?

Parts are pretty easy to find, in Japan atleast. I have a few shops bookmarked, but I don’t have access to the computer that it’s on at the time as I am moving. My new place doesn’t have internat access also.
You can buy through at Yahoo auction Japan via Proxy (such as shoppingmalljapan) though. Just put モトコンポ and atleast 20 pages of related items should pop up, including complete motocompos.

I have a motocompo too. And i need a back tire. I searched for a tire like that in a lot of shops but i can’t find one…Do u know were can i find a back tire…?????? plz help me!!!
June 7th, 2006 at 1:24 am
The tire size isn’t widly used in America, that’s why it’s so hard to find.
I actually couldn’t find a set of tires locally myself, though another Motocompo owner I Emailed found some fitting tires at a Vespa shop. Any other scooter shop might be able to help as well.
(also has the carb, the fist item on that page, if you’re still reading David)
This Japanese site lists a few, though I don’t if they will deal Internationaly.

I have 2 motocompo’s. One is red, the other is white. Both are in excellent condition with very few miles on them. I am the original owner. Both were purchased in europe in 1984 new from Honda dealerships. I am thinking of selling them, but know what they are worth. Any ideas. Has anyone found a lead on parts…just curious. My email is dancosta94526@sbcglobal.net

I have a motocompo too (red). I used to have a yellow one as well but I sold it at a garage sale for $40. What a mistake. Anyways, I need to find tires, and possibly a carburator as well, but all of he websites listed above won’t deal internationally. Anyone have a reliable source for parts? I’ll post on here if I find something. Thanks.
