WATTSON

June 22nd, 2007

wattson.jpg

Wattson is the new home energy monitor that looks rather lovely, helps save money on bills and allows users the chance to really live a life of less is more.

DIY Kyoto as the name implies are helping us make sense of our own energy consumption using their first product, Wattson. Good technologies like this can help to make the abstract real as this is sometimes the difference between doing something or not. And it looks good which is important for something that needs to be on show at all times.

We’re not interested in all retro technology at Hulger. But we do like this keyboard and LCD monitor from Steampunk. Beautiful to look at, beautifully made and has an integrity that moves it from a gimmick to something truly desirable.
